ABOUT US

We established in 2021 after the disappearance and murder of U.S Army Specialist Vanessa Guillen. Sexual violence in the armed forces is a permissive problem that affected Vanessa Guillen and countless others. 
The I am Vanessa Guillen Foundation has been established to give survivors a voice and people the ear to listen. We must emerge out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community. Our goal is for further action to be taken in military reforms, an example is the I am Vanessa Guillen Act. The Act was passed under the 2022 NDAA and we are working with Congress for more work to be done.
